Location:
Johor
is situated at the southern tip of Peninsula
Malaysia; the city is washed by seas on
three sides - the Malacca Straits in the
west, the Straits of Johor separating the
city from Singapore, and the South China
sea on the east coast. Johor was also called
Hujung Tanah which means End of the Lands.
This is because Johor occupies the tail
portion of the Malay peninsula.
