Pulau Perhentian is located 21km off the
Terengganu shore and accessible via Kuala
Besut jetty. It takes only 30 minutes by
boat to reach the island. The Kuala Besut
jetty is 40 minutes drive from Kota Bharu
and 1 hour 15 minutes from Kuala Terengganu
and easily accessible by road and air. There
are bus services to Besut from almost all
major points in Peninsular Malaysia.
