Getting To Kuala Terengganu :
Kuala Terengganu is the East Coast Corridor
for Peninsular Malaysia. Kuala Terengganu
is the centre for Malay culture and Heritage.
It is the gateway to the gorgeous Marine Park
islands like Perhentian , Redang , Lang Tengah,
Bidong, Kapas, Gemia and Tenggol Island. Beside
the islands Terengganu also offers the worlds
oldest rainforest jungle, Tasik Kenyir (Lake
Kenyir) and Tasik Kenyir National Park.
Driving by car with friends or loved ones
can be pretty much an interesting trip. Aside
from the greeneries that can be seen through
out your journey, the fresh air and unpolluted
countryside can offer a wonderful experience.
Once you get to Terengganu road, the beautiful
beaches and blue waters welcome you. Driving
travellers are advise to get a map from Tourism
Malaysia or any bookstore.
KL to K. Trg (approx. 455 km): 2 options the
coastal road or Bukit Besi :
Route 1
Highway to KL (Gombak Toll) on Karak Highway
Continue with LPT (E8) to Kuantan exit at
Exit 833
Go straight towards T junction E8
Turn left onto E4 towards Kuantan
Connect to E3 coastal road towards Kemaman,
Dungun and Kuala Terengganu
Turn rright at traffic light after Esso station
at Dungun town
Go straight towards Kuala Dungun where boat
departs -3 KM
Route 2
Highway to KL (Gombak Toll) on Karak Highway
Continue with LPT (E8) to Kuantan exit at
Exit 833
Go straight to T junction turn left onto E4
towards Kuantan - 1 KM
Turn left onto 1486 towards Bukit Goh - 300
m
Turn left 1487 onto wards Pahang Cement -
2 KM
Go straight until reach T junction - 28 KM
Turn left onto 14 towards Kuala Terengganu
- 97 KM
Turn rightt onto 122 towards Paka until T
junction at E3 27 KM
Turn left onto E3 towards Dugun - 20 KM
Turn right at traffic light after Esso station
at Dungun town
Go straight towards Kuala Dungun where boat
