Days 3 Nights Endau Rompin

DAY ONE ( lunch - dinner )
Your tour starts from Kahang with a journey
of about two hours to your base camp at Kampung
Peta. Upon arrival, your guide takes you to
the Park headquarters where you are registered
and briefed on the park's procedures and regulations.
You are then led through an informative Cultural
and Natural Heritage educational display of
the park's flora, fauna, indigenous crafts,
Taman Herba ( medicinal
plant garden ) and animal enclosure.
After
dinner, your guide leads you on a fascinating
night walk through the forest. ( Depend
on weather condition ).
DAY
TWO ( breakfast - lunch - dinner )
After breakfast, you depart the Kampung
Peta jetty for a boat journey along the
Endau River to the trekking staging point
at Kuala Jasin, where your jungle trekking
adventure begins. You will wade
across two shallow river crossings and walk
among lowland forest habitats. You will
see massive buttress root systems supporting
towering forest hardwoods together with
many unique species of
plant life, only found at Endau-Rompin.
Upon
arrival at Kuala Marong, you can relax while
your guides serve morning tea. Refreshed,
you continue on to your campsite at Batu
Hampar, where lunch is served. Now It's
the time to explore
the surrounding jungle and then relax, to
prepare yourself for tomorrow's challenging
climb, to witness the rugged beauty of the
Buaya Sangkut waterfalls.
DAY
THREE ( breakfast - lunch - dinner )
After a full breakfast, you are primed for
the strenuous three-hour trek to Buaya Sangkut,
known by the folklore of the local Orang
Asli as the ' Trapped Crocodile Waterfalls'.
Your guide will explain this
legend to you. Your reward for completing
this trek is lunch, overlooking tons of
pure, foaming water, thundering down an
ancient, three-level cliff face for about
40 metres. Surrounded by dense tropical
rain forest, this awesome spectacle is one
of Malaysia's most spectacular natural features.
After a mainly downhill afternoon trek back
to Kuala Marong, it's time to relax, and
enjoy the beautiful riverside setting of
your second campsite.
DAY FOUR ( breakfast - lunch )
After breakfast, you can choose to either
trek or enjoy the forest scenery while paddling
a canoe down the Jasin River, back to Kuala
Jasin. You will then travel by longboat
back to base camp at Kampung
Peta, where lunch is served. Around mid-day
your tour finishes at Kampung Peta.
